Neely, White named MGCCC Student-Athletes of the Week
PERKINSTON — Dillyn Neely and Daphane White have been named MGCCC Student-Athlete of the Week for Dec. 9-15.
Neely, a sophomore guard from Biloxi, lit up the scoreboard with a 7-for-9 performance from 3-point range in a 102-90 win over East Central in the MACJC South opener. He scored 29 points in just 28 minutes, shooting 77.8 percent from behind the arc.
White, a sophomore center from St. Martin, had yet another double-double in an MACJC South-opening win. She had 19 points and 17 rebounds in a 52-44 win over East Central.
