MGCCC releases football schedule
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast opens the 2019 football season under second-year head coach Jack Wright on the road on Aug. 29.
The Bulldogs will travel to Moorhead for a 7 p.m. kickoff to the season. They open their four-game home regular-season slate on Sept. 5 with Coahoma visits Perkinston.
All home games, except for Homecoming, will start at 7 p.m. Southwest visits Perkinston on Oct. 5 for a 2 p.m. kickoff to cap Homecoming Week activities.
The 2019 schedule alternates away and home games each week. The opponents are the same as last year's, swapping host teams. The MACJC schedule matrix rotates every two years.

Gulf Coast's other home games will be against Jones (Sept. 19) and Pearl River (Oct. 17). The Bulldogs' remaining road games are at Holmes (Sept. 12), Copiah-Lincoln (Sept. 26), East Central (Oct. 10) and Hinds (Oct. 24). Those four games kick off at 6:30 p.m.
