No. 1 MGCCC will play No. 14 EMCC

PERKINSTON — No. 1 Mississippi Gulf Coast will play No. 14 East Mississippi in the MACJC semifinal on Nov. 2 at A.L. May Memorial Stadium.

Kickoff in Perkinston will be a 7 p.m.

The Bulldogs (9-0) won all six MACJC South games to win the division crown and earn the right to host the first round.

East Mississippi (6-3, 4-2 North) earned the right to travel to Perk by beating Northeast 30-22 on Saturday.

Northwest (7-2, 4-2) won the North Division. The Rangers are expected to slip from their No. 2 spot in the rankings after losing 22-21 to Itawamba on Thursday. They'll host Jones (7-2, 5-1), which finished second in the South, at 2 p.m. next Saturday.
