PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast will try to bounce back from a disappointing midweek doubleheader at home on Saturday.

The Bulldogs entertain East Mississippi at Ken "Curly" Farris Field. First pitch is set for 2 p.m.

Last Time Out

  • MGCCC got swept by No. 9 Jones on Wednesday, losing 17-4 and 12-0.
  • East Mississippi swept Coahoma on Wednesday, winning 15-0 and 16-5.

Previous Meeting

On April 9, 2022, the Bulldogs split with the Lions in Scooba, winning 15-9 before losing 3-2 in 11 innings.

  • Gulf Coast is fifth in the NJCAA with 41 home runs. The Bulldogs lead the MACCC in home runs and are second in slugging (.521) and third in RBI (200) and batting (.319).
  • Charlie Keller (Fr., Mobile, Ala./Mobile Christian) leads the NJCAA in home runs (15) and is tied for fourth with 44 RBI. He leads the MACCC in home runs and RBI and is third in slugging (.804).
