
Men’s Basketball tips Nov. 1
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast will tip off its men's basketball season on the road on Nov. 1.
The Bulldogs, who were predicted to finish fourth in the MACCC by the conference's coaches, play the first two days of the season in the Pensacola State Classic.
Their first home game comes Nov. 6 when the Mobile University JV visits Dantzler Arena. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
The Bulldogs, who were runners-up in the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament last season, will play 14 home games and 15 away or neutral-court games in the regular season. Their MACCC opener will be play at Perk on Jan. 13 when East Mississippi visits. All conference games will be part of a doubleheader with the women's game starting at 5:30 p.m. and the men scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
