Isaac named MGCCC Student-Athlete of the Week
PERKINSTON — Travis Isaac has been named MGCCC Student-Athlete of the Week for Nov. 9-15.
Isaac, a wide receiver from Ocala, Fla., had a career-high 10 catches for 100 yards and a touchdown in a 40-3 win at Southwest Mississippi. The effort more than doubled his career reception total.
Also nominated:
Navonteque Strong, a sophomore linebacker from Scott Central, had 13 total tackles and three sacks in Gulf Coast's 40-3 win at Southwest Mississippi. He had five tackles for loss, forced a fumble, broke up a pass and had five QB hurries.
