Dulaney, Topps named Bulldogs of the Week

PERKINSTON — Anderson Dulaney and Tia Topps have been named Bulldogs of the Week for Feb. 15-21.

Dulaney, a freshman from Long Beach, won both his matches in Gulf Coast's dominant 8-1 win over Jones to take sole possession of the top spot in the MACCC. He teamed with Jackson Ward to win No. 3 doubles and won No. 5 singles 6-1, 6-2. 

Topps, a sophomore from Grenada, won both her matches in a 6-3 loss to Jones. She teamed with Kasey Kent to win her No. 3 doubles match 8-2 and won 6-3, 6-4 in No. 6 singles. 

Also nominated:

Anthony Ratliff, a sophomore forward from Terry, scored 21 points and yanked down seven rebounds in Mississippi Gulf Coast's 83-73 win over East Central. He also blocked two shots and had an assist in the Bulldogs' only game of the week.

Shabria Cronan had eight points and nine rebounds in Gulf Coast's 60-50 loss at East Central. She also had two assists and a block.
