Updated MGCCC basketball attendance policy

PERKINSTON — In accordance with the governor's update to COVID-related regulations in the state, Mississippi Gulf Coast has revised its attendance policy for basketball games.

The governor is allowing 50 percent capacity at indoor sporting events. Fans should perform a self-screening before leaving for the game, and they are encouraged to wear masks, maintain social distancing and perform CDC-recommended hygiene and sanitation routines.

Each Gulf Coast participant in the game will be provided a limited number of passes for friends and family. The school will be doubling the number of tickets available to the student body and making a limited number of tickets available to the general public, including visiting fans.

Tickets for all remaining games, including the March 4 women's game against Hinds, will go on sale online at noon the day of the game. The tickets can be purchased online at http://mgcccbulldogs.com/tickets. Online sales will cut off at 5 p.m. on the day of the game, with any remaining tickets available at the door.

Gulf Coast home games will continue to be streamed for free at http://mgcccbulldogs.com
