UPDATE: Baseball, softball, tennis have schedule changes

UPDATE: This release has been updated with Tuesday's tennis matches being postponed.

PERKINSTON — Tuesday looks like a rainy one, and that and other rescheduling matters have already shuffled what things are going to look like this week for Mississippi Gulf Coast.

As always, the best place to stay up to date with all the changes is at the composite schedule at http://mgcccbulldogs.com/composite:

Here's a roundup for baseball, softball and tennis, with at least one more update likely on Monday:

Baseball

Mississippi Gulf Coast, fresh off a sweep at No. 11 Northeast Mississippi, will have to wait an extra day to entertain No. 9 Hinds. The Bulldogs and Eagles will now meet Wednesday at Ken "Curly" Farris Field. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.

Softball

No. 2 Gulf Coast will now travel to Raymond to take on Hinds on Wednesday. The doubleheader will start at 2 p.m.

Tennis

Gulf Coast has moved its Tuesday matches against Itawamba to March 24. The men and women will play at Perk.

Gulf Coast has rescheduled a previously postponed matchup against Southwest to Wednesday. First serves in the men's and women's matches will be at 2 p.m.
