MGCCC women cruise to 3-0

PERKINSTON — The Mississippi Gulf Coast women's tennis team continued its dominant start by whipping Meridian 8-1 on Tuesday at the MGCCC Tennis Complex.
The Bulldogs (3-0) have not dropped more than one court in any of their matches. Ally Bowen (Fr., Oxford/Lafayette County) was dominant at No. 2 singles, losing only one game. Tia Topps (So., Grenada/Grenada) lost only two games at No. 6.
Gulf Coast gets a day off before its third match of the week Thursday. Coastal Alabama-South visits Perk, with first serves set for 1 p.m.
