Inchima named MACJC Player of the Week
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast midfielder Christian Inchima has been named MACJC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for Sept. 9-15.
The freshman from Mississauga, Ontario, scored five goals and had an assist in a 2-1 week for Gulf Coast. He had a goal in a 2-1 overtime loss at Meridian, then scored two goals in both a 3-1 win at Itawamba and a 4-0 shutout at Northwest.
Inchima has a four-game goal-scoring streak.
He is the third Gulf Coast player to receive the honor this year, joining keeper Isaiah Gore and forward James Redmond who swept the awards the first week of the season.
