MGCCC’s Gore wins MACJC award again
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast's Isaiah Gore has been named MACJC Keeper of the Week for posting a shutout in the playoffs.
Gore, a freshman keeper from Laurel, posted a shutout in the Bulldogs' 2-0 MACJC quarterfinal win over Itawamba. He stopped all six shots he faced.
It's the fourth time he's won the state award this season, and Gore won the NJCAA weekly award the last time he was nominated. He'll be eligible for the national award this week.
