State soccer tourney postponed
PERKINSTON — Heavy rains anticipated for Friday and Saturday in the Raymond area have forced the postponement of the MACJC Soccer Tournament at Hinds.
The semifinals will be played Monday, with Gulf Coast taking on Pearl River at 4 p.m. The winner will advance to the finals set for Tuesday at 6 p.m.
The Bulldogs (12-6) will be looking to avenge a pair of regular-season losses to the Wildcats (9-2-1).
MACJC Men's Soccer Tournament
Monday
Semifinal: Gulf Coast vs. Pearl River, 4 p.m.
Semifinal: Jones vs. Hinds, 6 p.m.
Tuesday
Final: MGCCC-PRCC winner vs. Jones-Hinds winner, 6 p.m.
