4 Bulldogs trap conference, region awards
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast placed two players on the men's soccer All-NJCAA Region 23 Team, and two more on the All-MACJC Team.
Midfielders Cisco Thomas (So., Meadowvale Secondary/Mississauga, Ontario) and James Redmond (Fr., Oberschule Roter Sand/Bremen, Germany) made the All-Region squad, while midfielders Deon Travis (Fr., Madison Central/Madison) and Christian Inchima (Fr., St. Edmond Campion/Brampton Ontario) are on the All-MACJC list.
Thomas led Gulf Coast with eight assists, and he scored five more himself. Redmond tied for the team lead with 11 goals and assisted on five others.
Travis had three goals and three assists, while Inchima also had 11 goals and five assists.
