Gore named MACJC Keeper of the Week
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast's Isaiah Gore has been named MACJC Keeper of the Week for his two shutouts in must-win games.
The Bulldogs needed two wins to clinch a state playoff berth, and the freshman from Laurel was up to the task.
In a 1-0 win over Southwest, he stopped three shots. Gore stopped two in a 2-0 win against Meridian.
It's the third time Gore has been named MACJC Player of the Week. He's now eligible for NJCAA weekly honors.
