No. 16 MGCCC Men aim for 8th straight on Sophomore Night

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast will be shooting for its eighth straight win when it celebrates Sophomore Night on Friday.

East Mississippi will visit Bary Thrash Field at Perk for a kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. Sophomore Night ceremonies will take place following the conclusion of the women's game, which starts at 5. Tickets are available at http://mgcccbulldogs.com/tickets, and the game will be streamed at https://mgcccbulldogs.com/watch.

Five Bulldogs will be saluted: Francisco Cruz-Lopez (So., Southhaven/Southaven), Anthony Hernandez (So., Pearl /Pearl), Terron McIntyre (So., Madison/Madison Central), Zach McWillie (So., Jackson/Murrah), and Mason Shortt (Fr., Brandon/Northwest Rankin).

  • EMCC: 1-10/0-6 MACCC, T-11th place in conference

Last Time Out

  • MGCCC exploded for all their goals in a 20-minute span of the second half to beat Holmes 8-0 on Tuesday.
  • EMCC lost 5-0 to Northwest Mississippi on Tuesday in Senatobia.
