PERKINSTON — No. 22 Mississippi Gulf Coast heads into the final day of the MACCC baseball regular season with things still to play for.
The Bulldogs host Hinds at Ken "Curly" Farris Field on Tuesday at 3 p.m. Buy your tickets ahead of time to save money. It costs $7 for adults or $5 for youth online, or $10 and $7 at the gate. Tickets are available at http://mgcccbulldogs.com/tickets, and the game will be streamed at https://mgcccbulldogs.com/watch.
Gulf Coast will avoid the play-in games in the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament. If the Bulldogs sweep Hinds, they would finish in third place if East Central sweeps Jones on Tuesday.
MGCCC will finish no worse than fifth.

- Gulf Coast swept Holmes on Saturday at Perk, winning 11-1 in seven innings and 9-2.

On April 17, 2024, Hinds beat Gulf Coast twice, winning 20-5 and 7-5 at Raymond.

- Jacob Palazzo (So, Biloxi/Gulfport) leads the conference after being hit by 26 pitches.
- Eli Waters (So, Petal/Petal) leads the MACCC in innings (75) and starts (13). He's sixth in wins (7) and eighth in ERA (3.00) and strikeouts (72).
- James Vines (Fr, Clinton, La./Silliman Institute) is second in strikeouts (89) and third in ERA (1.96) and K/9 (12.45).
- Samuel Marsh (So, Monroe, La./Neville) is fourth in innings (68.0) and fifth in strikeouts (76).
