
MGCCC’s Waters named MACCC Pitcher of the Week
PERKINSTON — Eli Waters was fantastic in his start last week for Mississippi Gulf Coast, and it's earned him an MACCC honor.
The sophomore righty from Petal has been named the conference Pitcher of the Week after a dominant performance against Copiah-Lincoln.
He threw eight shutout innings in a 7-0 win. Waters struck out 11 while allowing just three hits and a walk.

Waters is the Bulldogs' fourth MACCC weekly award winner this season, and the third different pitcher. He joins James Vines and Samuel Marsh, as well as Dom Jackson, who won Player of the Week.
Waters is now eligible for NJCAA weekly honors.
