Bulldogs fall to No. 8 Chipola

Mississippi Gulf Coast struggled shooting from the field against No. 8 Chipola on Friday night and lost 90-44.

Jabbari Barry (Fr., Lake Charles La./Barbe) made 10-of-18 shots from behind the 3-point arc and finished with 30 points. He had 18 of Gulf Coast's 20 first-half points.

Gulf Coast shot 21 percent from the floor, and the other Bulldogs combined for 1-for-23 from the 3-point line.

Trace Joseph (Fr., Pascagoula/Pascagoula) led Gulf Coast with seven rebounds and had two blocks.

The Bulldogs will play Gulf Coast State on the final day of the Milton H. Johnson Classic on Saturday. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. There will be no stream of the game.
