Bulldogs start conference action Thursday

PERKINSTON — The MACCC schedule for Mississippi Gulf Coast's men's basketball team opens Thursday at home.

Copiah-Lincoln visits Dantzler Arena at 7:30 p.m. The conference schedule has returned to doubleheaders this year.

• Duran Parish is making 83.8 percent of his free throws, 10^th-best in the league. His 2.6 steals per game are third-best.
• Gulf Coast leads the MACCC in field-goal attempts (69.8), 3-pointers made (10.1), 3-point attempts (26.3), free-throw percentage (74.9) and steals (13.6).
• Gulf Coast has scored more than 100 points in the last two games and more than 90 in seven of eight wins.
