Softball season starts Jan. 31

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast starts its 2023 softball season on the last day of this month with a road trip to Baton Rouge.

The Bulldogs, under second-year coach David Kuhn, will play their first 13 games away from Perk before Feb. 21 when Pensacola State visits. Gulf Coast will be playing its season on brand new artificial turf at Ross-Smith Field.

All home games will be streamed at https://mgcccbulldogs.com/watch. Adult tickets are $7, and youth tickets are $5. Children under 12 get in free. Tickets will be on sale at http://mgcccbulldogs.com/tickets, and information on season passes will be released shortly.

The Bulldogs will play three non-conference doubleheaders at home before MACCC play starts. Mississippi Delta visits Perk on March 10 for a doubleheader, the first of seven conference home dates.
