Bulldogs drop two in Gulf Shores

Mississippi Gulf Coast lost a pair of softball games Saturday at the Sun Chief Classic in Gulf Shores, Ala.

On the second day of the tournament, Gulf Coast lost 9-7 to Snead State and 6-0 to Chattanooga State.

K.K. Agner (So., Horn Lake/Magnolia Heights) hit two more home runs for the Bulldogs and drove in five runs. She leads the team with six homers and 25 RBI. Kate Brannan (So., Enterprise/Enterprise) had three hits, including a double.

Gulf Coast opens its home schedule Wednesday with a doubleheader against Pensacola State. The first pitch is set for noon at newly resurfaced Ross-Smith Field. The games will be streamed at https://mgcccbulldogs.com/watch.
