Gulf Coast faces No. 7 Co-Lin at Perk

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast faces the first of two top-15 softball opponents on consecutive days when it welcomes No. 7 Copiah-Lincoln on Wednesday.

First pitch at Ross-Smith Field is set for 3 p.m. The doubleheader will be streamed at https://mgcccbulldogs.com/watch.

Gulf Coast will travel to No. 14 Itawamba on Thursday in a game moved up a day because of expected bad weather.

• MGCCC lost a pair of games at Coastal Alabama-North on Saturday, falling 6-2 and 8-7 in eight innings.

• Kamryn LaFosse (Fr., Lake Charles, La./Sam Houston) is eighth in the MACCC in home runs (6) and fifth in RBI (28).
